indeed under martial law and durees! That was an appeal of an approach of what was to come later on in one of the former most stable country of AFRICA politically. As a result, this so called order in the "Ivory Coast", all newspapers and magazines close to the left wing were suspected and closed down. Among them, were the most critical periodicals classified as "anti "Allasane Ouattara" notably on non objective grounds such as: "Notre temps"(our time), "Notre voie"(our way). At the same time,, leading media men were arrested and detained illegally in "ABIDJAN" welknown prison called "La MACA" located IN the popular district of "YOPOUGON" namely: "Herman Aboa" (ivorian public tv reporter), "Cesar Etou"(deputy editor of "Notre voie", left wing daily newspaper), "Didier DEPRI"(sub editor of "Notre voie"), "Boga Sivori"(politics analyst of "Notre voie").Those prominent ivorian reporters are still behind the bars till now...Meanwhile, the major aim which stirs president "Allassane Ouattara" to action is to get an entire grip on the whole mass media in the "Ivory Coast", so as to pave the way for an unprecedented dictatorship! On the other hand, few others ivorian government officials keep on asserting that the ivorian mass media shall publish objective new reports, whether of local or foreign source. Therefore, extraneous, expressly prohibited are materials that are considered as seditious or that tend toward disorder, lawlessness and violence. In the same trend, in view of the state national ivorian turmoil. They even feel that no local correspondence may be filled in the Ivory Coast which criticizes the new regime and its duly constitutes authorities. The press in the IVORY COAST IS NOW UNDER DUREES" which the martial law administration seemingly went through the eventual motions of transfering powers to self-government bodies. This kind of atmosphere seems to place the media under psychological durees, because of the following provision. Basically, it seems that a decree has been passed behind closed doors in the "Ivory COAST" by the new regime: Consequently, any reporters who shall offer, publish, circulate, spread rumors, false news informations and gossips or cause the publication, distribution or spreading of the same, which tend to cause panic, divisive effects upon the people, discredit of, or distrust for the duly constitued authorities, undermine the stability of the government in the "IVORY COAST", and the so called objectives of the new regime, endanger the public order or cause damage to the interest or credit of the state shall upon conviction, be punished prison correccional. But when coming back to the facts, ivorian journalists such as:"Herman Aboa", "Cesar Etou", "Didier Depri","Boga Sivori" have nothing to with the undermining of the state's stability. Moreover, they have accomplished their job as professional journalists, grounded in deontology and professional ethics. to make everything absolutely clear, they might me arrested on politics grounds, because nowadays in the whole Africa it seems that there is no gap between politics and journalism..That's the sad reality of Africa!
