plantation of talented reggae artists! In the same trend, Ivorian reggae music maker "Beta SIMON" is still jamming in Africa and EUROPE, since his first tube blasted the roots african reggae in the 90s.Today "Beta Simon" is becoming more mature and prolific, therefore his latest "Lp"untitled" "Soupe de pierres"litteraly("soups of stones") is to some extent an expressive metaphor to appeal for the african togetherness and unity by any means possible. That’s to say, lift up your brothers, don't put them down, someone said in his lyrics. AS far as rasta "Beta SIMON" is concerned, every human being can be a share holder of his "NEW LP" by giving a symbolic humanist support."I'm in favour of our national sovereignty in the "Ivory Coast", because Africa as a whole needs a full independence. We must fight against the new babylon power structures aiming to destroy our national sovereignty. our struggle in the whole Africa is to free ourselves from the new babylon system, and the powers of the new babylon slaves masters so as to look forward to the light of a brighter future planed by the almighty. When "Beta Simon" sings" Saperlipopette" in his own words, he is pointing out the shortcomings of the african societies generally speaking, but he also criticizes clerarly the new economic bondage of post french african countries such as "IVORY Coast" using till today against their will the neocolonial currency called "FRANC CFA". On the other hand, he's trying to confirm that he still remains one the most committed african reggae vocalists inside the ivorian roots reggae scene. "BETA Simon" is on tour in Europe since he recorded "Soup of stones", his "new Lp" in PARIS 3 months ago, but his greatest challenge is to be on tour in USA next year.Time will really tell.
