Alerte Info/Presse en danger en Côte d’Ivoire : Sy Savané Ousmane, DG de « Le Temps » arrêté hier par la DST

Le 28 mars 2012 par IVOIREBUSINESS – La foudre du pouvoir Ouattara s’est encore abattue hier sur le groupe Cyclone, éditeur du quotidien ivoirien « Le Temps ». En effet, Sy Savané Ousmane, directeur général du

quotidien « Le Temps », a été arrêté hier par la DST pour une raison encore inconnue, et emmené vers une destination inconnue. Sa famille et ses proches n’ont aucune nouvelle de lui. Avec cette énième arrestation d’un patron de presse, c’est la liberté de la presse qui est réellement en danger en Côte d’Ivoire, où la parole et la pensée uniques ont désormais droit de cité.
Tous les ivoiriens et amis de la Côte d’Ivoire doivent de mobiliser afin d’exiger la libération de Sy Savané Ousmane. C’est pourquoi, nous appelons tout un chacun à appeler Reporter sans frontières (RSF) au (00331)44 83 84 84, afin d’exiger sa libération et alerter l’opinion sur la dérive dictatoriale du régime Ouattara.

"Press in danger in the "Ivory COAST"(WEST AFRICA): The ivorian press seems to be today under durees and martial law :the deputy editor in chief of "NOTRE TEMPS"(ivorian daily newspaper) has been recently carried off by ivorian secret police forces in disguise(Dst)!In another words, One of the main target of the current ivorian regime under "ALLASSANE OUATTARA'rule remains the press, who seems to be under indirect martial law !Meanwhile, instead of closing down ivorian publications, journalists are being carried off in brutality behind closed doors... As a whole, ivorian journalists were not spared the worse fate of detention: Three months ago, ivorian public tv reporter, "Herman Aboa" was imprisoned on the basis of vagary reasons, but finally released: Intimidations and brutality still remain a political strategy for the new regime of "Allassane Ouattara"...In the same trend, ivorian innocent civilians are also still paying a worthy price of the new ivorian political system, grounded in violence, tribalism, nepotism and oligarchy! Consequently, under indirect martial law, it is fairly easy to pinpoint the most urgent and relevant problems facing the beleaguered press: the arrest and murder of ivorian journalists, the issuance of indirect repressive decrees which placed fundamental human rights, including freedom of press, in jeopardy! Unfortunately in the current "Ivory Coast", such blatant repression keep on existing and taking higher ground in the "Ivory Coast", but the "layers of constraints" originating elsewhere, are still palpable and conspicuous in the country right now...It seems that we are back to the one rule political party system of the seventies, which rambunctiously gave us the illusion of freedom and liberty in the country.
