Press in danger: "Panafrican daily newspaper on line "Ivoirebusiness.net" targeted by the ivorian embassy in Paris"!

in a deep slumber! It also informs objectively and educates a nation as a whole! In the "IVORY coast"(WEST Africa), the press ceased to be manipulated since 1989, namely during the downfall of Berlin wall, also backed up by the so called conspicuous influence of the eastern wind. Although this reality may sound like a rhetorical issue, the seemingly obvious answer is a complicated one which must discern patterns from threads which have just recently emerged when president "Alassane Ouattara" took over in the "IVORY Coast", (April 2011).SO right now, it seems that it's a routine fact to arrest journalists and reporters in a country, "the Ivory Coast" where freedom of speech was one of the political backbone under president former president "LAURENT GBAGBO". As a matter of fact, under new martial laws in the "Ivory COAST", it's fairly easy to pinpoint the most urgent problems and shortcomings facing the beleaguered press in this part of Africa: Consequently, the closure of critical publications in the "IVORY coast" such as "Notre voie"(our way)), "Notre temps"(our time), the arrest and murder of ivorian journalists, the filing of multi million francs cfa (Ivorian currency) libel suits against them, and the issuance of repressive decrees which placed fundamental human rights, including freedom of the press, in jeopardy. Today, in the "Ivory Coast" such blatant repression still exist, also the layers of constraints originating elsewhere are palpable namely in PARIS, where the ivorian embassy aiming to intimidate the editor staff of one the most trusted panafrican daily newspaper on line "Ivoirebusiness.net". it seems clearly that we are back to the old one party political system of the seventies, where freedom of press was prohibited. Down the line, the ivorian embassy in Paris will sooner come to reality, because our panafrican daily newspaper on line(Ivoirebusiness.net) (more than 100.000 visitors daily worldwide) is composed of professional journalists who are used to taking into account professional ethics and deontology. We will never surrender nor give up in playing a key role informing objectively the whole world. PEOPLE, GET READY....
