"Politics in West Africa": "Is the ivorian president "Allassane Ouattara" one of the cornerstone of capitalism and liberialism in WEST AFRICA?

career can be analysed to some extent as a stone some rivalry forces refused in 1993, when former
president "Houphouet" passed... Meanwhile, being a close ally to the west and liberal theories, his policy is basically grounded in capitalism and liberalism in the "Ivory Coast" right now! First and foremost, "ALLASSANE OUATTARA" is fundamentally a product of the american environment, where he passed a "phd" in economy in "Pensylvannia" in the seventies! But the issue is: What capitalism and liberalism stand for as a whole? Capitalism can be analysed as as an economic system of free enterprise based on private ownership, producing for profit in the open market. In practise, market competition often needs to be sustained or modified by government intervention. All capitalist countries today have mixed economies which varying amounts of state ownership, regulation and market intervention. On the other hand, liberalism is associated in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries with elimination of feudal remnants and aristocratic privileges, but liberalism was linked with the doctrine of liberty in the american background! That's to say the maximum of individual liberty and the minimum of state intervention in society and the economy. However, the commitment to individual liberty drew some strands of liberalism towards more state intervention (social liberalism), while others cling to liberty. Those liberal and capitalist theories are coming back in the "Ivory Coast", where former ivorian president, the late "Félix Houphouët Boigny" who ruled the "IVORY COAST" from (1960 to 1993), had already in the same trend, planted liberal theories over three decades(from 1960 to 1993) in the country... But with president "ALLASSANE Ouattara" in power in the "Ivory Coast", actions ought to speak louder than words: That might be one the main liberal policy weapon to stir economic growth in an environment of political risk in the current "IVORY COAST"....Wait and see!
