Le 23 juillet 2011 par IvoireBusiness - The press in the "Ivory Coast" under the rule of president "Alassane Ouattara" seems to be

squeezed in the new ivorian political background! Meanwhile, revenge, slaughter, bloodshed, looting remain the only cup of coffee of the bloody rebel soldiers of president "Alassane Ouattara" who keep on benefiting from a diplomatic backing of the so-called international community(France, european union AND IMF)! Under martial laws, it is fairly easy to pinpoint the most urgent problems and shortcomings facing the beleaguered press! Consequently, the closure of critical publication and press groups such as: "Cyclone", "la refondation" in the "Ivory Coast", also the arrest of some journalists and reporters in the "Ivory Coast": "Herman ABOA", "Anderson Kouassi", "Armand Koné", "Serges Boguhé", "Germain Guézé" are the conspicuous facts that the ivorian press is really in danger! In addition to that sad reality, the issuance of repressive decrees which placed fundamental human rights including freedom of press, in jeopardy! Today in the "Ivory Coast", formerly one of the most stable african country over three decades , has been transformed into a no man's land and a banana republic by president "Alassane Ouattara" closely with his west african bloody rebel soldiers since last April. therefore, blatant repression still exist and the layers of constraints are still palpable throughout the country; It seems that we are coming back to the free-wheeling press hard hitting existing two decades ago! that gave us the illusion of freedom of press, but still remains a dream never comes true! Down the line, the role of press today in the "Ivory COAST" seems to be versus the tyranny of president "ALLASANE Ouattara" .But ivorian patriots must keep in mind the fact that he who lives by the sword , will unquestionably perish by the sword! Also, never forget the fact that "men in the trees don't fly, they climb", That to say, "men that rise to the top like president "ALASSANE OUATTARA" and his bloody rebel soldiers are still capable of falling one day, because they can not be superheroes! Time will really tell!
