While President Gbagbo's trial is still pending, I would like your service to consider viewing the video as below. It retraces and gives a clear and unbiased overview of the current Ivorian Crisis since its beginning in
2002, while Mr Ouattara, supported by the "International Community" led by France organised a bloody rebellion, which parted the country in two till the so called presidential elections in October 2010.
These elections, because of the social and political atmosphere and condition in which the "international community" forced President Gbagbo to organise them, opened ways to further bloodshed in the country. While Laurent asked a recompt of the vote to clarify who won the elections, Nicolas Sarkozy, as a personal friend and godfather to Ouattara, rather ordered the French Army, of whom some have been established in the Ivory Coast since 1961, to bombard the Ivorian Presidential Palace were President Gbagbo was dwelling with all his staff and family. The bombardments killed countless civilians and destroyed public and private properties. Gbagbo Laurent was captured with his wife, Simone Gbagbo together with many other of their staff on Monday the 11/04/2011. After they were subjects to any kinds of unhuman treatment, humiliation and violence the history of the world could have ever noticed, Laurent Gbagbo was deported to the Northern part of the country to a city called Korhogo, were the further torture he was subject to is currently under investication by your services. Simone Gbagbo and the other officials of the country are still scattered in various prisons throughout the country without any due process of law. They have no right to visit from neither their family nor anybody else, but in very rare cases, their lawyers and members of international organisations.
Despite the fact that President Laurent Gbagbo was deported to the Hague in the conditions that he described himself on Monday, the 5/12/2011 at his first hearing at the ICC, THE COUNTRY HAS NOT YET REGAIN PEACE AND SECURITY AS PROMISED BY OUATTARA. Every single day, Ivorians are subject to tortures, rapes, killings, lootings and any kind of human rights violation by the militia-army called FRCI. The country is going deep down into a lawless land.
I wish you watch this video to understand the whole situation and especially, the role played by France in this crisis.
I have also attached a copy of the conference I pronounced in June 2011 in Glasgow (Scotland), which gives an insight in the crisis in the Ivory Coast.
